Microsoft Security Bulletins Summary - October 2004

This month, 10 new advisories were released for Microsoft products, everything from a hole in Excel that allows arbitrary code execution to another look at compromising a box via malformed graphics files.

Download the October details, including the advisory, info, superceded patches, applicability matrix, threat rating, etc. The document is offered as an XLS and a CSV (seems appropriate to offer the CSV this month since the bulletins include a warning about using Excel spreadsheets to compromise a box). Get the Excel version here, and the CSV here.
